John has over 50 years of experience working in the jewelry store. He specializes in jewelry design, repair, and restoration. John serves on the Board of Trustees at Fort Scott Community College; he is a past charter board member of the Fort Scott Historic Preservation Association and is very active in the Valley of Fort Scott Scottish Rite organization. John is an avid motorcyclist and enjoys travelling on his motorcycle. Ask him about his most recent road trip!
Cindy has assisted at the jewelry store since 1997. She works with accounts receivable/payable, inventory, payroll, purchasing, and sales. Cindy is retired from Fort Scott Community College; she has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas. Cindy is a member of the Fort Scott City Commission, has served as the Mayor of Fort Scott, and is a member of the Fort Scott Visioning Committee. John and Cindy enjoy travelling and spending time with their 4 children (Amy, Grace, Chris, and Marty) and 7 grandchildren who live in Nevada, MO; Overland Park, KS; Bentonville, AR; and Newport News, VA.
Krysta has an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She works full time at the Jewelry store and is learning the jewelry trade from John. Krysta is very creative, so when given the opportunity to work on and design jewelry, she was very enthusiastic! Krysta is our go-to employee for creating customized jewelry designs utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Designs) software. If you have a drawing or design idea for a piece of jewelry, Krysta will step you through the process of making your design into a reality. Outside of work, Krysta loves photography, drawing, writing, volunteering at church, traveling with her family, and spending time with friends.
